I am a professional genealogist, a member of the APG and operate Heritage Investigations, a genealogical and historical research company. I have performed research for clients for 25 years. Client cases have covered a variety of research areas including: military, First Nations, land records, source citations for authors and general family history searches.
I research mainly in repositories located in the Ottawa Valley Region, but have attended archives, libraries and land records offices throughout the province of Ontario. I have also performed online or microfilm searches for data in other Canadian provinces, the U.S. and U.K.
I earned Professional Learning Certificates in Genealogical Studies in: Methodology, Canadian Records and English Records (U.K.). I have taught beginner genealogy classes, lectured and volunteered for several gravestone transcription projects.
I have served on many Lanark County area boards including the Lanark County Genealogical Society, Archives Lanark and the Lanark & District Museum.
